Lovell Homes will unveil their much-anticipated first show apartment at flagship Cardiff development, The Mill, Canton on Saturday, 1 July.
The launch of this spectacular contemporary home and the development’s marketing suite will give homeseekers their very first opportunity to experience the high-specification design and build quality available at one of the Welsh capital’s most desirable new addresses.
Also featuring a new release of stylish two- and three-bedroom homes, the launch event will take place from 10am to 5pm with an Independent Financial Advisor on hand providing free financial advice regarding mortgages and homebuying options, including the Help to Buy – Wales Equity Loan.*
Following a phenomenal response from homebuyers, the forthcoming launch will further stoke demand for homes at this brilliantly located, new urban village, says Lovell regional sales director Julie Bowen: “The Mill is proving to be the perfect base for young professionals, growing families and downsizers in a highly desirable riverside location just ten minutes from Cardiff city centre.
“We’ve already had 21 reservations – most of them first-time buyers – in the eight weeks since the first homes went on sale during our pre-launch held at HoskinsMorgan Estate Agents. Prospective purchasers love the blend of traditional and contemporary styling while the new show apartment and marketing suite have created even greater excitement surrounding these brand-new homes so close to Cardiff’s cosmopolitan city centre.” Many homebuyers are opting to use the Government-backed Help to Buy – Wales Equity Loan scheme, available to both first-time buyers and existing homeowners, which enables purchasers to secure a new property with as little as a five per cent deposit.
Visiting the spacious two-bedroom show apartment will give prospective purchasers an immediate sense of the amazing lifestyle on offer at The Mill.
There’s also plenty of design inspiration on offer thanks to the chic and sophisticated interiors created by interior designers Blocc. A stylish grey and monochrome colour palette, with yellow accents, is the epitome of modern urban cool. Generously proportioned, the show apartment is certain to appeal to a wide range of purchasers, including both first-time buyers and downsizers with accommodation which will work equally well for single people, couples and young families. The open-plan living / dining / kitchen area provides a fantastic space for socialising, entertaining and relaxing and is very definitely a ‘room with a view’ offering stunning vistas over the development’s tree-lined river walk and beyond, with light streaming in from French doors opening on to an attractive Juliet balcony. The apartment also features two good-sized double bedrooms, including the master bedroom with en-suite, and the family bathroom. These features mean it would also be a great home for two flat-sharers or anyone considering buying with a friend, as each person would be able to have their own bedroom and bathroom.
Homes currently available at The Mill start from £182,000 (£145,600 after a Help to Buy – Wales Equity Loan) for the two-bedroom Ashton house style with three-bedroom homes available from £245,000 (£196,000 after a Help to Buy – Wales Equity Loan). All homes at The Mill are also subject to an Estate Management service charge.
Ideal for anyone seeking easy access to Cardiff city centre, The Mill will also suit those needing to travel further afield. You’re only two miles from Cardiff Central railway station which provides services throughout South Wales and into England. By car, the nearby A48 gives easy access to the M4 while to the south, the A4232 takes you to Cardiff Bay. Cardiff Airport is only 12 miles to the south west.
The show apartment and marketing suite will be open seven days a week, from Saturday, 1 July, from 10am to 5pm at The Mill, Canton, Cardiff CF11 8DH. Alternatively, to find out more, please contact the Lovell sales team on 02920 606 766 or go to www.themill-canton.co.uk
