Featuring stylish brand-new two-, three- and four-bedroom houses, the fantastic crop of homes at King’s Lynn’s latest housing development, Orchard Place, really does offer something for everyone.
The traditionally-styled properties – the first homes to be created through an innovative partnership between developer Lovell and the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk – have certainly proved an immediate hit with homebuyers.
“We’ve been delighted with the positive response we’ve received to Orchard Place,” says Lovell regional sales manager Adrian Garrood. Visitors flocked to this summer’s pre-show home launch, with 12 reservations taken since the opening weekend and a further nine ‘Early Bird’ reservations on yet-to-be released plots having been secured, with the first customers expected to move in before Christmas.
“The development offers homebuyers the chance to secure a high-quality, brand-new home, close to the centre of King’s Lynn and with an excellent range of house styles to choose from, there are options to suit a wide range of buyers.
“We’ve got homes ideal for young professionals and families keen to gain more space as well as properties that are perfect for downsizers.
“The majority of our purchasers have been first-time buyers with two-thirds opting to use the Government-backed Help to Buy: Equity Loan* scheme which helps make buying more affordable.”
Current availability includes a small number of Gala three-bedroom semi-detached homes at £204,950 (£163,960 after a Help to Buy: Equity Loan) and a handful of four-bedroom homes starting from £239,950 (£191,960 after a Help to Buy: Equity Loan) for the semi-detached Lambourne house style. All house styles have been named after apple varieties, in honour of the development’s location, with the new homes set around an existing orchard.
Benefitting from easy commuting links to Cambridge, Peterborough and Norwich, Orchard Place is well placed for travel across the region and beyond. In addition, the town’s railway station offers a direct route to London, via King’s Cross, in under two hours.
The first show homes at Orchard Place are set to open in mid-November 2017. To find out more or to register your interest, please visit the marketing suite, open from 10am to 5pm, Thursday to Monday, at Orchard Place, off Marsh Lane, King’s Lynn, PE30 3AD
