Ellie Standen has recently joined the Lovell team and is currently learning the ropes as a trainee sales executive, rotating across developments and undergoing training with different colleagues.
Ellie, aged 19 from Costessey, will soon be enjoying life by the sea as she is set to join the team at our beautiful Bowlers Green site at Hopton-on-Sea as a trainee sales executive from July 2023, working alongside sales executive Debbie Knight.
We caught up with Ellie to see how she is getting on…
Have you always wanted to sell homes?
I’ve been a hairdresser since I was 14 and love working with people. I love just talking to people of all ages and helping them, and really wanted a career change. Also, some of my family have worked in housing – from my great nan to my auntie and nanny, and now me! It definitely runs in the family and I’ve always heard them talk so positively about this as a career.
How are you getting on so far?
I’m currently based at Wymondham at William’s Park and I’m really enjoying being part of the Lovell family. Everyone is so lovely and it is a brilliant environment with everyone being so helpful. I’ve been talking to customers and showing them around our show homes, and have been learning about all the paperwork and processes too!
What are you most looking forward to about Hopton-on-Sea?
I have met Debbie Knight, the sales executive there, and she is just so lovely. I’m looking forward to the sea air too as it is has the most beautiful beaches on the doorstep.
What do you do when you are not working?
I love Clubbercise exercise classes and walking my boxer dog.
Bowlers Green is in the stunning coastal village of Hopton-on-Sea in Norfolk on the east coast. It is famous for its beautiful sandy beach, which stretches for miles, as well as village amenities, including shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs.
