LEADING housebuilder, Lovell Homes, has opened the doors to two stunning revamped show homes launched at its development, Tennyson Fields Phase Two, in Louth.

The new-look three-bedroom Milford and the four-bedroom Roseberry are both now available for house buyers to view, and are perfect for expanding families, first-time buyers and downsizers.

Featuring earthy tones, including green wallpaper and terracotta on the walls, as well as greys, blacks and copper, throughout the home, The Milford offers a warm and inviting space. Each room is filled with a range of furniture, including beautiful oak - a popular interior trend for 2023.

It also blends a combination of different textures and textiles including a satin padded throw in the first bedroom, with matching satin lampshades for a touch of luxury.

Meanwhile, the Roseberry is decorated with dramatic colours, such as rich navy and ochre tones throughout. Marble, mirror and velvet furniture are the heroes through each of the rooms, coupled with contrasting textures around the home which help to provide a wow factor as soon as visitors walk in.

Avril Deehan, senior design partner at Classic Interior Design, designed both of the show homes at the development.

She said: “We start the design process by looking for inspiration from the local area as well as any current trends. This year, touches of bronze are back, as well as feature wallpapers and earthy tones, which we included in the designs of both homes.

“Since Covid-19, we’ve also seen that an increasing number of people are buying more expensive and sustainable items that will last, as they are spending more time in the house. It was therefore vital for us to create a luxurious and on-trend feel throughout the show homes that viewers could picture themselves living in.”

Covid has similarly led to an increased number of employees hybrid working, with figures from the Office for National Statistics stating that 42% of employees still choose to work remotely from home and only sometimes in the office. Offices have therefore become a bigger feature in many homes, with house buyers wanting to see spaces in prospective homes where they could work from.

Colette Ben Tarcha, regional sales director at Lovell Homes, said: “It was really important to us to include an office area in both show homes so it was great to see Avril and her team incorporate this in the fourth bedroom of the Roseberry and second bedroom in the Milford show homes. This highlights to house hunters how they can adapt the space for their post-covid flexible working needs.

“Whenever we launch any new show home, it’s always important that we create spaces house hunters can envision themselves living in, and Avril and her team have certainly brought that vision to life in both homes, with exciting designs that never fail to provide that wow factor.

Avril added: “We always ensure we place decorations and furniture in each room that will help house buyers walk in and instantly visualise themselves living there. So, we think of every detail in our home to help with this. This includes the dining table being set so house buyers can imagine themselves hosting a dinner party for friends and family, storage spaces being showcased to make it easy for visitors to picture where they would put their belongings, and TVs being placed in rooms to show where they can relax.

“For us, it’s all about those little touches that take a space from a house to home.”

For those looking to call Tennyson Fields home, Lovell Homes will also be offering a six-month mortgage contribution of up to £1,000 a month with free flooring included, or a five per cent deposit contribution on selected plots.

The marketing suite and the Milford and Roseberry show homes are open Thursday to Monday 10.00am till 5.00pm, with viewings available.. For more information about Phase 2 of Tennyson Fields, please visit: Tennyson Fields 2 or call 01507 623 541.
