Leading developer Lovell is continuing to support the local community in Doncaster by sponsoring Doncaster Phoenix RUFC for its 2019/2020 season.

The team is an independent amateur club playing out of Castle Park, which is also home to the Doncaster Knights. The club has a clear vision of playing the highest standard of rugby attainable by an amateur club by adopting professional standards.

The club relies on sponsorship from local businesses to keep it running. Lovell is sponsoring the club £500, which will be put towards match and training balls as well as tackle bags for this season.

Robert Adams, regional managing director at Lovell said: “At Lovell we aim to support local community groups as much as we can and that is why we are so proud to sponsor Doncaster Phoenix RUFC.”

Dave Townend, President at Doncaster Phoenix RUFC said: “As the years have gone on, the cost of running the club continues to rise and we are much more reliant on business sponsorship to help support the club. We are very grateful for Lovell’s generous contribution and the support we have received.”
