Sharon Shepardson, 60, recently moved into her new Lovell home at our Bowlers Green development in Hopton-on-Sea on the Norfolk coast. She purchased a 3-bedroom Puttenham home and is extremely happy with it.
Sharon hasn’t had to move far as she has lived in Hopton-on-Sea for 35 years and loves the area. She says: “Hopton is the best of both worlds. It’s between Lowestoft and Great Yarmouth, and I can easily pop into Norwich as there are very good connections and transport. We are really lucky here; every morning I drive myself and the dogs to Gorleston and walk along the cliffs to a small coffee shop and enjoy the views. I love the coastal life, there’s a bit of everything here.”
Talking about why she chose a Lovell property, Sharon said: “After being newly widowed, I wanted a slightly smaller house, as the one I was in was too big for me. I wanted a fresh start and something more economical. My son, who is a bricklayer, highly recommended Lovell as a housing developer, so that helped me make my decision and I’m extremely pleased I listened to him. Lovell has been brilliant from start to finish and continues to check in to ensure everything is okay. The customer care is excellent.”
Sharon continued to talk about what she loves about her home and the community: “The garden is lovely and bright; I’ve got a really good plot and it’s south-facing which is what I wanted. We’ve got a great community, all the neighbours are brilliant and we have our own WhatsApp group so we can keep up to date with what is happening on site. Everyone seems really friendly, and I’m extremely happy with everything.”
Sharon has been happy in her dealings with Lovell. “There were a couple of little issues I raised when I moved in, but Lovell dealt with this quickly and efficiently. They came round the same afternoon, fixed the problem and ensured everything else was okay.”
