Lovell signs up to Government Building Safety initiative
Lovell has joined with other developers in signing up to the Government initiative (known as “the Pledge”) in respect of carrying out remediation works necessary to mitigate life-critical fire safety defects on residential buildings over 11m in height and developed since May 1992.
Lovell is actively engaging with building owners, head leaseholders and managing agents in order to identify and prioritise the actions needed.
The Lovell pledge is set out in the letter below, which also includes the Schedule of Agreed Principles developed by the Government.

Lovell signs up to Welsh Government Building Safety Developer Remediation
Lovell has joined with other developers in signing the Welsh Government Building Safety Developer Remediation Pact (known as “the Pact”).
The agreed principles between the Welsh Government and Lovell Partnerships are in relation to the performance of remediation and/or mitigation works (or the funding and/or procurement of such works) to address life-critical fire-safety defects on all relevant residential buildings of a height of 11 metres and over in Wales.
Lovell is actively engaging with building owners, head leaseholders and managing agents in order to identify and prioritise the actions needed.
The Welsh Government and Developers’ Pact set out in the document below, also includes the Agreed Principles developed by the Welsh Government.
